The forthcoming UN General Assembly on ICPD  affords the ACCPD an opportunity to make a statement,  not exceeding five minutes, on the implementation of the ICPD POA in Africa during the meeting. The statement will reflect the gaps and challenges encountered with implementation of ICPD POA and what actions are necessary to resolve the unfinished business of the ICPD POA as well as identifying emerging issues and making recommendations for addressing same and ensure universal access to SRH information and services for all in Africa.
